When Mum returns home injured and moving with wheels and sticks, life at Kitty Central changes. Pip tries to keep the household under control while the cats adapt to new routines and a human who suddenly needs looking after. Then Sam goes missing. Chico launches a search, Max analyses the clues and Jack refuses to give up, while the rest of the household waits for news.
Having broken my foot with a houseful of cats I could totally relate! All those devices - my cats hated them! Great humour.
I enjoyed Book 1 and this was better - deeper character development. Loved it!
